Dhabi Music Tour 2010
The Music Department will embark on its second tour to Abu Dhabi from October 1st to 10th. We will be strengthening our relationship with the British School Al Khubairat and participating in everything from master classes, lunchtime recitals and evening concerts. This tour is much more than music. Our students get a chance to experience life in an Islamic country and visit such delights as the Grand Mosque, shop in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, race Landrovers in the desert, BBQ on the beach, play football against our hosts and much more culminating in an overnight stay in a 6* Hotel in the desert where we will complete more music workshops and give a concert in the foyer the morning we leave. We will also perform in New York University, and who knows where else! A truly unique educational experience awaits the 20 participating students. They will have the time of their lives catching up with old friends, meeting new people, experiencing cultural beauty and bringing their wealth of musical talent to our hosts and families.
