Dulwich Community Programmes (DCP) is an after-school activities programme which offers after-school sports and culture courses both during the week and at weekends. These programmes are in addition to school Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) and sports teams.
DCP courses are open to both DCB students and the community as a whole, and are not included in the school tuition fees. They are run by external professional coaches and instructors in activities ranging from cooking and music to football, swimming, figure skating, ballet, ice hockey, science and more. Apart from ongoing programmes in football, music, swimming and tennis, course offerings tend to change each term. Dulwich College Beijing also operates an ice rink on the school premises every winter with skating classes offered November-March.
Community Programmes are organised mainly for children between 3-17 years but some are also geared toward adults. These include music, yoga, skating and kick-boxing.
DCP also arranges holiday camps across the year to keep children active when the College is closed. Summer Camps are offered throughout the summer, and week-long day camps are available during other times of the year (for example Chinese New Year, Christmas and Spring Break).
Dulwich Community Programme Air Quality Policy: DCP follows the College’s AQI policy found at here. Outdoor courses are cancelled or moved inside when the AQI exceeds the allowable threshold. Notification will be sent to parents by noon on the day of the activity.
