Beyond the classroom

We place equal emphasis on our students’ intellectual and personal development, encouraging them to learn from everything they do.

All our Junior and Senior School students are encouraged to take advantage of the co-curricular activities available at the College, to learn and develop new skills or devote time to an interest.

We encourage our students to challenge themselves and venture beyond their comfort zones. As part of their education at the College, students have opportunities to participate in field classes visiting domestic and international destinations. This allows our students to experience a wider range of cultures in a learning environment that the classroom cannot always provide.

We believe strongly in delivering a holistic education, one offering opportunities for students to excel academically in their fields of interest whilst also developing skills needed in later life. Our students’ engagement with communities, both inside and outside the College, broadens their experience and promotes a sense of social responsibility.

Interact  is the largest charity group at Dulwich College Beijng consisting of 150 students ranging from Year 7 to Year 12. It is affiliated with worldwide renowned Rotary Club.

What I enjoyed most about being part of the Interact club was that we really managed to make an impact on people's lives! This was particularly true for the Tabitha Cambodia Trip - it's easy to write a check and send it off somewhere, but it's a lot harder to actually travel to a different country and actually partake in the manual labour that is necessary for the completion of this project.

- Charles Chiu, Year 12

I am incredibly proud of the achievements that Interact has accomplished; being able to build 15 houses a year in Cambodia for five continuous years and providing health checks for 60 children every year.

- Rebecca Zhu - Lambrecht, Year 12

Our Heritage

Dulwich College is one of the UK's oldest independent schools, founded in South London as a boys’ school in 1619. Dulwich College International (DCI) was established to bring the Dulwich education to students around the world.

Our Facilities

Our College campus is an expression of our learning philosophy. We offer an educational environment designed to nurture the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of our students.

Our Approach to Learning

Our approach to learning nurtures confidence and intellectual curiosity in our students, preparing them for success in further education and life beyond.

Language Learning in the College

Language learning is an important part of our learning philosophy at Dulwich. We believe that learning a language is essential for understanding the world  as well as understanding oneself, and for appreciating the subtleties of cultural differences.
